Image Filters

Apply filters and effects to your images. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

How to Apply Image Filters

Upload an image, then use the sliders to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and other properties. You can also click a preset for instant effects like Grayscale, Sepia, or Vintage. The filtered image is processed entirely in your browser using the Canvas API — nothing is sent to a server.

Available Filters

  • Brightness — Make the image lighter or darker. 100% is the original.
  • Contrast — Increase or decrease the difference between light and dark areas.
  • Saturation — Control color intensity. 0% is fully desaturated, 200% is vivid.
  • Hue Rotate — Shift all colors around the color wheel (0–360°).
  • Blur — Apply a Gaussian blur effect (0–20px).
  • Grayscale — Convert the image to shades of gray.
  • Sepia — Apply a warm brownish tone for a retro look.
  • Invert — Reverse all colors to create a negative effect.
  • Opacity — Control the transparency of the image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine multiple filters?

Yes. All sliders work together — you can combine brightness, contrast, blur, and any other filter simultaneously. Presets are just starting points; you can fine-tune any slider after applying a preset.

What formats are supported?

The tool accepts any image format your browser can display, including JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP. The output is saved as JPG for photos or PNG for transparent images.

Is the image quality preserved?

The tool processes at full resolution. JPG output uses 92% quality, and PNG output is lossless. The filtered image maintains the same dimensions as the original.
